Amador Valley High Honored as a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School

Amador Valley High School has earned national distinction as as 2017 National Blue Ribbon School, the U.S. Department of Education announced on September 28, 2017.
Walking distance from Stanley Village - Amador Valley High and DowntownAmador Valley High School is one of 342 schools in the nation and one of only 25 schools in California to receive this honor. Amador is the only high school in Alameda County recognized as an exemplary high performing school and one of two schools in the County to be honored as a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle and high schools, where students achieve very high learning standards or are making notable improvements in closing the achievement gap. This national award affirms the hard work of educators, families and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging and engaging content.
